BIBaDO catch it all baby cover all best bib for baby led weaning

We had such a great response to the first article I wrote "13 Fantastic BLW Recipes" that I have been building a new list of my favourite recipes ever since. We all fight the same battle: keeping your child engaged, interested and excited about exploring their food; and as I have now learned - keeping ourselves interested in what we're cooking and eating too!

Here are my absolute favourites from the past 3 months, along with some advice on first foods, nutrition and BLW hacks!

Please share and like this post, and comment with your favorite BLW recipe!

Baby led weaning recipe thai salmon

#1 Thai Salmon Bites

So that your LO enjoys the same food as you (making your life easier!) it's important to introduce them to the flavours you eat early on. We love Thai food, and Jessica's trick here for keeping the salmon together made introducing these flavours easy!

"There is no need to wait until your baby is 12 months to offer him/her fish. In fact, it’s a good idea to offer fish to babies from 6 to 12 months because it’s packed with good fats, iron and zinc. The problem with fish is that it usually doesn’t hold together very well. It’s dry and falls apart easily when babies handle it."

#8 Very Italian Courgette Pasta

From blogger Mummy To Logan. So simple, quick and easy, but an absolute classic!

"The main reason behind cooking this dish was because I’d always get some sort of courgette pasta thing frozen from a ready meal, which was ok but I knew that I’d be able to make it myself for a fraction of the price, and it’s great for BLW too!. And another reason is, I’m trying to eat a bit better, not only for myself but for my 5-week old baby foetus!"
